'Labour': Performance Art at the Lab, Foley street, by Ailve McCormack
The exhibition seeks to address the endurance and hardships women have faced in Ireland and the significance of women in society. It references the enforced labour in the Magdelen Laundries, examines identity and gender, explores stereotypes of the feminine and investigates social ideologies that limit women’s empowerment.
